1. Wishing Davis Pfeifer a Speedy Recovery Today, our Chief Operating Officer, Davis Pfeifer, underwent surgery. Davis has been awaiting this procedure for some time, and we’re optimistic it will bring him much-needed relief. Please join us in wishing him a smooth and speedy recovery. We’re looking forward to seeing him back in action soon!
2. Updates on the UPMO Prototype Exciting progress has been made on the UPMO prototype:
Enhanced Durability: Gregg Buswell, our Chief Technical Officer, has reinforced the stitching to support larger weights without compromising the structural integrity of the device. This improvement is crucial for ensuring the UPMO meets diverse patient needs.
Magnetic Innovations: We’ve recently received magnets to help us explore a new approach to determining linear speed. While we’ve traditionally relied on the tachometer, these magnets offer a promising alternative. The next step is to identify the optimal placement for them on the prototype.
Your continued support and input drive these advancements. Together, we’re moving closer to making the UPMO a game-changer in mobility solutions.
Thank you for being part of our journey!
