Dear Team,
Before I head off to Prescott, Arizona, to visit my parents this weekend, I wanted to provide a brief update on our recent activities and upcoming plans.
SBIR Feedback: Although we have received feedback from the SBIR submission to the NIH, I have not yet had a chance to meet with Dr. Zustiak or Alien TT to review the comments and scores from the reviewers. We will schedule a meeting soon to discuss these insights and determine our next steps.
UPMO Prototype: Last week, Gregg and I powered up the UPMO prototype. While it worked as intended, it operated slower than we had planned. Our focus will now shift from assembly to optimization to enhance its performance.
Podcast Releases: Two podcasts I recorded earlier have recently been released. The first is the “Women of the Military” podcast, and the second is “Ordinarily Extraordinary - Conversations with Women in STEM.” While the exposure from the "Women of the Military" podcast was great, I felt the quality was a bit choppy. I will share the links with you soon.
Team Schedules: Please note that Davis will be on vacation during the second half of August, and Gregg will be taking his annual trip to Canada at the end of the month. It's a busy time for everyone outside of Buswell Biomedical.
