Product Development & Testing:

  • We’ve made notable progress on the UPMO device, completing a new test fixture and ordering weights to conduct lift-speed testing across various loads. This testing phase is crucial for optimizing the UPMO’s performance and reliability, ensuring it meets the high standards required for healthcare Rehabilitation Hospitals..

Community Engagement & Funding Efforts:

  • As part of Startup Connection during StartUp STL Week, we presented Buswell Biomedical at a table display, connecting with other local innovators and potential partners.   • We are also nearing completion of our resubmittal for the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant to the NIH. This funding would greatly enhance our R&D capabilities, helping us move closer to our goal of providing improved mobility solutions in healthcare.

  • Buswell Biomedical was recently featured in interviews on the "Vroom Vroom Veer" podcast and the "Women in STEM" podcast, allowing us to reach new audiences and share insights about our mission and innovations in medical technology.
