Breaking News: Buswell Biomedical Buzz! - May 18th

Dear Buswell Biomedical Community,

It's been just 10 days since our last newsletter, and although our updates typically come monthly, there's been so much happening lately that we couldn't wait to share the news with you!

1. Prototype Progress: Despite encountering a few bumps along the way, our team has been diligently working on our prototype. We recently faced a challenge with a drum component that interfaces a gearbox  that didn't match the drawing/model provided. While this setback did delay our assembly timeline, it's all part of the process of refining and perfecting our product.

2. Welcoming Erica Pisciotto as Chief Medical Officer: We're thrilled to introduce Erica Pisciotto as our new Chief Medical Officer! Erica brings a wealth of experience to the table, balancing her role with us alongside her work as an Occupational Therapist at Saint Luis University Hospital and her teaching commitments at Washington University.

3. Introducing the UPMO Logo: We're excited to unveil the official logo for UPMO (Upward Mobility), a project close to our hearts. This logo will soon receive trademark protection from the USPTO, marking a significant milestone in our journey.

4. Advancing in the Tech STL Start-up World Cup: We're proud to announce that Buswell Biomedical has advanced to the next round in the Tech STL Start-up World Cup competition! I'll be pitching on Monday night, and your support would mean the world to us. If you're available, please join us at the old post office building in downtown Saint Louis Monday, May 20th from 5:30 - 8:00 PM at the Post Building.

Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm as we navigate these exciting developments. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to push the boundaries of innovation in the biomedical field!
